Kelsey always grew up knowing she wanted to teach and do hair. She has also always loved business, marketing and had dreams of being an entrepreneur. Here is where it all came together. After doing hair in the Treasure Valley for over 13+ years, with the help of her husband Jerry, they opened A Beautiful Reaction in March of 2019. Kelsey wanted to open a non toxic, green concept salon that was safe for not only clients but stylists as well. She wanted to bring a new salon “experience” to the Treasure Valley for our guests that make them feel educated. Involving the chemistry of hair, as well as up front and transparent pricing, always keeping the clients needs in mind.

Hello! I am Ashley Lamar, I was originally born in Birmingham, Alabama but moved to Boise when I was in 3rd grade! I have always had a love for people, college football, and southern cookin’. I am currently attending Boise State University to attain my BSN and will graduate December 2022. I can’t wait to meet you!

Hi there! I’m Maddie, the face behind the phone! I was born in Boise, ID. In my free time, you can find me hanging out with my boyfriend and my cat, Jinx. I was a barista for 3 years, but ended ip finding my place right here at A Beautiful Reaction and I love it! I’ve always wanted to go into the cosmetology field so this is the perfect start for me. Can’t wait to meet you!!

Hi, I’m Camyn! I was born and raised in Spokane, Washington. I love all things travel & health and am very passionate about hair & skin health specifically! In my free time, I love spending quality time with my husband and dog on the lake or exploring Boise! I enjoy expressing my creative abilities behind the chair and connecting with each of my clients. I can’t wait to meet you & see you fall in love with your hair all over again!

Hi, I am Katie! I was born and raised in Nampa, ID and love the area! I have always wanted to do hair and been very passionate about it since I was a little girl! Being able to provide my clients with the hair of their dreams by continuing my education is something that is very important to me! A fun fact about me is that I also have my barber’s license so I enjoy doing men’s cuts as well as color! I can’t wait to see you in my chair!

Hi! I am Ally Smith, I was born and raised in Boise, Idaho! I enjoy working on all types of hair (blonde, brunettes, etc) cool toned blondes being my favorite! In my free time you can find me spending my time outdoors with family and friends! I look forward to meeting you and seeing you in my chair!

Hey I’m Paige! I was born and raised here in Idaho. I spend my time outside of the salon playing volleyball, on the lake or cuddled up watching a good movie. My favorite thing to do as a stylist is highlighting or balayage. My goal is to have each and every client leaving feeling happy and beautiful! Can’t wait to meet you!!

Hi! I’m Courtney! I was born and raised in Northern California. When I graduated high school in 2015, I moved to Boise Idaho to pursue an education at Boise State University. After I quickly learned that wasn’t the path for me, I began cosmetology school and shortly after, began my career with A Beautiful Reaction. In my free time, you’ll most likely find me with my dog, spending quality time with friends and family, or making music/attending live music events. Having an artistic outlet has always been my therapy, and I’m very thankful this industry allows that. One thing I greatly admire about this career is being able to make someone feel their absolute best. Having the creativity and gift to help others feel beautiful in their own skin is something I will never take for granted, It truly is a blessing. I look forward to meeting you!

Hi I’m Lainey! I was born and raised in Weiser, ID, I love being in the mountains, going swing dancing, and hanging out with my friends and family! I am currently going back to school to finish my Veterinary Technology degree. My favorite thing to do in the salon is highlighting and cool toned blondes. I look forward to seeing you!

Hi everyone! My name is Calli. I’m not originally from Idaho, but I absolutely love the Boise area. I didn’t always know I wanted to do hair, but my passion grew quick for the industry and all it has to offer. I love doing all types of blondes and color but balayage and lived in looks will always have my heart! When I’m not in the salon you can find me hanging with friends and family or continuing to explore the Boise area. I’m so excited to see you in my chair and make you’re hair goals come true!

My name is Jessica! I have an amazing husband and 2 little kiddos! I like to spend the majority of my time with my family watching movies, going to the park, and or going out to dinner!
